Anilla Cardigan
A fitted, cropped silhouette is paired with cabled ring details in the Anilla Cardigan. The body is worked from the bottom up in one piece, with cabled rings along the bottom and front openings. Shaping is created with darts to create a smooth fit. Convex v-neck shaping, reminiscent of vintage blouses, is worked alongside the cables to create an uninterrupted flow to the shoulder. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked in short rows for the cap. Worked from the top down, the sleeve length and circumference is easily adjusted.
A lightweight wool/silk blend DK weight yarn creates the perfect sweater for warm weather. Anilla is meant to be worn with about 1” positive ease; shown in size 37.25” on a 36” bust. Stitch patterns are written and charted.
