As a teenager I was spellbound by J.R. R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings. I would stay up late learning to read and write dwarvish runes and Elvish words. Inspired by the dwarvish alphabet Tolkien created, these mitts are an engaging knit with visually striking, but intuitive cables.
