This fun and simple pattern is quick to work up and finishes to an 8” mermaid. A great pattern for beginner or intermediate amigurumi artists.

You will need to know basic crochet stitches including:
Magic Circle - mc
Slip Stitch - sl st
Single crochet - sc
Chain - ch
Single Crochet Increase - inc
Invisible Decrease - inv dec

Materials needed:
D hook (3.25mm)
Worsted Weight Yarn Colours Needed:
Skin (I used Loops and Threads - Aran)
Tail
Bikini Top
5-6 colours for hair
2 Safety Eyes (6mm)
Black Embroidery Thread
Fiberfil
Yarn Needle
Stitch marker
Scissors
Optional: Blush and small make-up brush
