Wide and oversized long cardigan in a beach wrap style with short sleeves and an airy lace pattern in sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL.

Structure:
The heavily oversized long cardigan with a diamond lace
pattern is worked top down in one piece. First, the back
part is worked, then both front parts are shaped
separately. Afterwards, all parts are joined by casting on
new stitches under the armpits and the cardigan is
worked in one piece, until the desired length is reached.
The stitches are then bound off with an i-cord-edging.
For the sleeves, stitches are picked up along the armholes
and the sleeves are worked in a diamond lace pattern in
the round and finished off with an i-cord-edging as well.
For the airiest look possible, there are no decreases to
shape the sleeves.
The neckline along V neck and front parts is finished off
with an applied i-cord-edging as well.
The fit of the cardigan is very oversized, emphasized by
the drop shoulders, the wide body and the wide sleeves.
If you prefer less positive ease, you can work the smaller
sizes in comparison to your actual bust circumference.

• 5.5 mm circular knitting needles and 4.5 mm DPNs, optional 5.5 mm short knitting needles/ DPNs for the sleeves
• 1 darning needle
• stitch markers or leftovers

Knitting Tension:
10x10 cm = 14 sts x 21 rs in lace pattern, 2 strands of yarn
held together on 5.5 mm knitting needles (wet blocked)
