Andean Alpaca Poncho
Soft and Silky, this comfortable hooded poncho is easy to drop over a baby’s head. Warm enough for winter wear, it is inspired by Peruvian textiles. High in the Andes, the men and children wear warm hats and ponchos woven on backstrap looms. This poncho features an authentic Andean punta scalloped edging worked in several natural shades of alpaca spun with tighter twist. Alpacas are embroidered in natural colors along the bottom edge in thicker yarn. Tassels are added at bottom edge corners, neck cord ends, and the top of the hood.
