Ancestral Shawl
This generously-sized cabled shawl is the perfect extra layer to throw in your bag (or keep in your car!) should that evening barbecue turn chilly, or the clouds emerge during the kid’s sporting event. It has a classic style that has stood the test of time and looks just as good dressed up or down. The extra long shape of the triangle means it will stay put when you drape it over your shoulders, with or without a shawl pin.
Finished Size
One size:
28”/70cm tall by 75”/187.5cm wide.
To adjust the size of the shawl, I recommend adjusting the weight of the yarn. For a larger shawl, use Aran or bulky weight yarn; for smaller, use DK or fingering.
