This pattern is designed for my advent calendar mini skein set, and is constructed of 24 solid granny squares using each mini skein of yarn from the calendar. By the end of your advent you will have a gorgeous blanket to snuggle under!

This pattern is easily customised. Perfect for mini skeins & busting through scraps in your stash. You can make any number of squares. 9 squares make a 3 x 3 baby sized blanket or is a perfect lap blanket for the back of an arm chair, or you could go big and make a large one for a bed.

Want to use 4ply? This pattern can be easily adapted! Use a 4mm hook and crochet a few extra rounds on each granny square as you will have enough yarn to do so. Follow the rest of the pattern the same, measurements will differ.
