Ampelia is a true labour of love. The crisp cabled pattern imbricated with the delicate lace, the finesse of the yarn, I enjoyed everything it about it.

The sweater is worked in one piece, from the top down, without seams. The front features a lovely textured pattern that brings all the sophistication to the garment, while the back and sleeves are worked in stocking stitch.

You’ll need a bit of focus for the cabled pattern. And the 3 mm needle ask for a bit of patience too. But trust me, it’s all worth it. In the end, it’s maybe the most refined piece I’ve ever created.

Ampelia est un projet passionnant. Le pimpant motif torsadé imbriqué avec la dentelle délicate, la finesse du fil, j’ai tout apprécié.

Le pull se tricote en une seule pièce, de haut en bas, sans coutures. Le devant présente un joli motif texturé qui apporte toute la sophistication au vêtement, tandis que le dos et les manches sont travaillés en jersey.

Vous aurez besoin d’un peu de concentration pour le motif du devant. Et l’aiguille de 3 mm demande aussi de la patience. Mais croyez-moi, tout cela en vaut la peine. En fin de compte, c’est peut-être la pièce la plus raffinée que j’ai jamais créée.
