Amish Afghan
This afghan appeared in 3 parts, accompanied by articles on modular knitting. It is designed to introduce a beginner to modular construction - with simple shapes that are combined using traditional quilt patterns to create a one-of-a-kind afghan that can also be a very portable project. It is suitable for using up bits of leftover yarn.
There is no sewing. After all the blocks are completed, the afghan pieces are knitted together and an edging added on.
