This pattern started out with a frog. A single, solitary, simple frog. But alas — the frog was grumpy. I made him a lily pad (I really thought that would cheer him up) — but no.

I made him a flower. Flowers cheer everyone up. Not this frog.

I made him a fish friend. But instead of cheering the frog up, the fish just came out grumpy too.

Now we have an entire pond that’s grumpy. And you know what? I give up!
