The Amazonia wrap has been designed exclusively for the launch of Pascuali’s new yarn Balayage, which was created in cooperation with Mairlynd / Melanie Berg.
Balayage perfectly features the lace pattern, and creates a soft, warm, though lightweight wrap that will dress you perfectly in cool spring weather or on chilly winter days. Balayage is of 80% Baby Alpaka and is thoroughly produced in Peru, which is also the home land of some Amazonas springs - hence the name Amazonia.

The pattern shows meandering rows of 1/1 ribs followed by lace sections. Even though the lace pattern is quite extensive, you will see that it is easy to remember once you have worked through 2 or 3 repeats.
The lace pattern is fully charted, supported by written line-by-line instructions.

You can easily adapt the pattern to a scarf by decreasing the number of lace repeats - instructions are given in the pattern.

Im Januar 2019 hat Pascuali in Zusammenarbeit mit Melanie Berg das neue Garn Balayage auf den Markt gebracht. Die Stola Amazonia durfte ich für die Markteinführung des Garns entwerfen.
Balayage besteht aus 80% aus peruanischem Baby Alpaka und wird komplett in Peru gefertigt. Hier entspringen auch einige Quellflüsse des Amazonas. Deshalb - und durch die wellenförmige Struktur des Lacemusters - entstand der Name Amazonia.

Das Lacemuster scheint auf den ersten Blick sehr umfangreich. Rechts-links-Muster formen eine mäandernde Struktur, innerhalb derer die blattförmigen Lacebereiche liegen. Trotzdem ist das Muster recht leicht zu merken, sobald 2 oder drei Wiederholungen gestrickt sind.
Das Muster ist als Chart verfügbar. Ausgeschriebene Erläuterungen Zeile für Zeile sind ebenfalls Teil der Anleitung.

Das Muster kann einfach angepasst werden für ein schmäleres Strickstück - entsprechende Anweisungen sind ebenfalls in der Anleitung enthalten.
