Alys is an easy cloche style hat that knits up quickly in Malabrigo Worsted.
This is the ideal blank canvas to practise your crochet embellishments.

Suggested yarn requirements:
Aran/Heavy Worsted yarn
100g/192m of MC, small amounts of contrast colour yarn for embellishments.

Sample used:
60g/115m of MC (Malabrigo Worsted in Glazed Carrot)
Approx 20g/40m of CC (Malabrigo Worsted Continental Blue)

Basic crochet stitches are used in this pattern - suitable for the confident beginner. Links to online tutorials are included where appropriate.
