PATTERN NOTES
This vest is knit in pieces and seamed. Each piece is knit in the round from the center out, starting with a small number of stitches and increasing to the correct width. The two front pieces are worked until the desired size and then stitches are bound off leaving a small number of stitches to work the shoulder straps flat. Three equal pentagons are knit for the back and seamed together as shown in the schematic. The straps are sewn to the back and finally crochet chain ties are attached to the front pieces.

Please note that the Lace Mesh pattern mentioned in the Stitch Guide is for swatching purposes only. Please be mindful that achieving the correct measurement is more important than the stitch count in the body section. We have chosen to leave out total stitch counts as row gauge can vary greatly.
