Description
An entertaining sock for the ardent sock knitter, for those in search of an interesting foot-suntan pattern, or those with naturally hot feet! This stitch pattern sets off hand-painted yarns beautifully. The design features: Loopy edging, scallop openings (no casting-on/binding-off here), the wonderful and sturdy ( and well-fitting) garter stitch short-row heel, and sole short rows. Too much fun!
Similar to the incorrectly named (according to Lucy) Bosnian Toes and Turkish Heels published in Knitter’s Magazine, but Almost Saintly is Lucy’s own leaflet version.
This pattern has been included in my new e-book, “A Little Book of BIG Holes for Hand-Knitters”.
