Summer skirt is one of my bucket-list dream knit items! To be completely honest, I haven’t been dreaming about a knitted skirt for more than a few years, but as soon as my dear friend Jonna hinted about her own dreams, I knew I had to make them a reality!

So here it is - Alma Skirt! Midi-length, not quite a pencil skirt nor super flowy or pleated, but just perfect, easy to wear piece. The skirt is knitted easily in Stockinette stitch, shaped gently with short rows and has a little slit on the back to make it as comfortable to wear as possible. I already knitted one in sport weight yarn as well as with Silk Mohair double stranded!

The pattern is made in collaboration with Ilo Yarn for Jyväskylä Knit Fest 2024.
