All Wrapped Up
A silk/wool blend was chosen, because I like the way the silk stretches, pulling the shrug down and accentuating the yarnovers.
You can knit this in a wool, alpaca or other yarn, adjusting the gauge and number of row repeats to make a custom fit item. If you followed the pattern without making adjustments for the “lengthening” of silk, your shrug would be a bit shorter across the back.
If you attach a bead to the bottom, remember to keep it relatively light, or you will be pulling your shrug forward all the time, especially when wearing it as a wrap, not a shrug.
ERRATA
Row 17 should read as k2, * yfwd, k2tog * to last 2 sts, k2
NOT as * k2, yfwd, k2tog * to last 2 sts, k2
The asterix error will not change the shape or fit of the design, but the line of lace holes will not be as holey. Holey moley what a fluff up!
