All Smiles Shawl
This long curved garter stitch shawl also doubles as a scarf. It features a sand stitch ribbed edge, stockinette stitch stripes and rows of decorative eyelets for visual interest. It’s an extremely versatile piece that can be worn a variety of different ways: as a shawl or wrap draped across the shoulders or as a scarf or cowl around the neck. The curve in the shawl will drape around your neck and shoulders beautifully.
It can be made from any sock, fingering or sport weight yarn. I used an entire skein of Malabrigo Sock yarn (440 yards) in the colorway Light of Love to make the shawl in the photos.
The name of the yarn shade plus the curved stripes in the shawl reminded me of smiles… and when you’re in love you do a lot of smiling. :)
