I enjoyed creating this design because my goal was to infuse it with as much energy as possible. As I was crocheting demo after demo, I was just thinking of how to make the motif feel like it was bursting with light and energy, almost like a firework. I think mission accomplished! The four corners do seem to radiate brightly off of the center flower.
