INTRODUCTION
A long rectangular mosaic crochet scarf, inspired by the Moorish tile designs of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Southern Spain.
These decorative tiles from the Nasrid era are based on geometry and tessilation, often featuring squares, hexagons, octagons, diamonds, and equilateral triangles.
Designed with two width choices, the scarf can be made using either 30 x 10g mini skeins for the thinner version, or 23 x 20g mini skeins for the wider version.
The scarf is worked end-to-end, so you will be working the rows along the entire length of the scarf. The pattern uses fingering weight / 4-ply yarn.
This scarf was originally designed and inspired by @fruitfulfusion #Januarybox2024, a set of hand dyed mini skeins whose colours have been curated to take you on an adventurous journey through North Africa.
