YARN
1 skein of Knitcola hand-dyed alpaca yarn (100% alpaca; 393 yds/360 m per 100g skein) in “Silver Dollar”. (Colour A - grey).
I had only a smidge of yarn left from 1 skein. You might like to have some in reserve to account for gauge variation.
Approx. 6 x 20g mini-skeins (fingering-weight yarn in various wool blends; 393-437 yds/360-400 m per 100g.) (Colours B-G)
The instructions are beautifully adaptable to the yarn you have available and the colour suggestions in the pattern are a guide only.
Mix and match accent colours through the Alchemy sections (approx. 2.5 gms or 1.09 yds/1 m for each stripe of colour) or create a striking cowl with just 2 colours.*
