This is a pattern for an ornately cabled stole. The cable is combined with a more traditional plait cable, albeit a complex one.

This stole is knitted with light worsted weight yarn. The sshawl is approximately 21 1/2 inches inches x 68 - 76 inches, but can be altered, and, as shown, requires approximately 950 - 1150 yards. The focal cable stitch comes to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney.

The stitches are both charted and written out.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. This is the ONLY crochet in the entire pattern: The optional edging.

The yarn used in the sample is Malabrigo’s Rios yarns in colorway, Melon. This pattern was was expertly tested by Lena Stewart who can be contacted at: signergirl1@yahoo.com

The pattern is for sale here on Ravelry and in my Etsy Shop in the Shawls/Stoles/Scarves section (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WearableArtEmporium?section_id=…)
