This hat was inspired by the romantic texture and lace designs found in Japanese knitting. It seems fitting to give it the female Japanese name of Aiko.

The finished size given is measured with the ribbing relaxed. Hats should fit with negative ease, making the 16” relaxed rib circumference suitable for most adults. The lace pattern is both written and charted.
