The pattern is designed to fit a cushion inner of 45x45cm. I found a cheap covered cushion at a store. This is also a great way to spruce up a cushion that is looking a bit tired.
You can stitch the crochet cover straight onto the existing cover or you will need a zip.

It uses US terminology

I would recommend working in cotton yarn for the cushion cover
4mm hook
Sewing thread
Covered cushion inner (45x45cm)
Scissors
Needles for sewing in ends
40cm zip (optional)
