This pattern is inspired by one of the novels the designer is writing. The delicate stockings knit in a blend of silk and wool are perfect for a bride to wear on her special day. Due to the fine yarn used, the stockings are intended to be worn for special occasions only.
The fictional story in the magazine is a portion of a novel called Agnes’s Silk Stockings, which is part of the Secrets in the lace series. Agnes is the main character of both the novels. The stockings were designed after the story was written. In the first Novel of the series, the gown was the inspiration for the story.
