Knit in a bold color or a neutral shade, the lines of these cables are bold and distinct, with a lovely roundess to them. that feels classic, but also modern. It’s just a bit different from your average cabled hat. I played with these cables at both the brim and crown, and when knit in a yarn that shows off the detail, this hat is just perfect!

Notes are in the pattern for modifying size, and the cable instructions are both charted and written out.

The new sample knit in The Croft Aran is the purple version, worked in Moarfield 1147. The original samples in gray and pale green are worked in discontinued YOTH Father, but still here as they show the detail of the hat really beautifully too.
