While standard daisies lay perfectly flat, the South African Osteospermum throws out the entire rulebook. Its petals start normal at the base, suddenly pinch tightly into a narrow, hollow tube in the middle, and then explode outward into a perfect, wide cup at the very tip, looking like a miniature spoon.

Because of that dramatic, three-dimensional twist, the bloom constantly flashes its underside, creating a stunning two-toned contrast where a moody, darker shade frames a vibrant interior face. It looks incredibly intricate, but it is secretly tough as nails.
