“These mittens will keep your hands warm and when knitting worsted is used they work up quickly. You will need about 2 ounces of knitting worsted in the color of your choice, size 4 double pointed knitting needles (or size needed to knit to gauge) and a tapestry needle.”

Possible combinations for stripes:

1. 3 rows dark, 5 rows light.
2. 4 rows A, 2 rows B, 5 rows C.
