Gauge: 29 hdc & 23 rows = 10cm / 4” in main crochet pattern using 3mm hook after blocking

Hook: 3mm crochet hook
There is no US equivalent for a 3mm crochet hook. If you are unable to find the required size in mm, try using either a US C/2 (2.75mm) or a US D/3 (3.25mm) hook depending on how tight your gauge is.
Always use a hook size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: Locking stitch marker, tapestry needle

Notes: Acre is crocheted flat (in rows) in four pieces (front, back, and sleeves). The front and back of the garment are worked sideways and then crocheted together at the shoulders and sides. The sleeves are also worked sideways before being folded in half lengthwise, crocheted together (from underarm to cuff), and then attached to the body. Finally, the neckband, hem, and cuffs are added by crocheting seamlessly in continuous spiral rounds. US crochet terms used throughout.
