Acebo es un chaleco con hombro tipo martillo top-down que se empieza a tejer en circular desde del cuello trabajando siempre con los dos hilados. A continuación, se dividen los puntos entre, delantero, espalda y martillos. A partir de aquí se harán aumentos en todas las vueltas a cada lado de ambos martillos hasta llegar al ancho de hombros. Seguidamente, se separarán el delantero y la espalda que se continuarán tejiendo en plano por separado. Una vez llegados a la axila, delantero y espalda se vuelven a unir para tejer el cuerpo en circular. Unos centímetros después, delantero y espalda se vuelven a separar para terminar en plano, cerrando el cuerpo con un I-Cord. Por último, se recogen los puntos de las sisas y se cierran con un I-Cord. A lo largo de todo el chaleco se trabajará un motivo de trenzas sólo con la hebra de mohair, creando un efecto muy interesante.

Ambos hilados se tejen juntos.

En la muestra se han usado los colores Christmas Tree (CA) y Christmas Boubbles (CB).

• Montaje de lazada retorcida.

• Aumentos simples (inclinados a la derecha y a la izquierda; del derecho y del revés).

Acebo is a top-down saddle-shoulder vest that begins in the round at the neck working with two strands held together throughout. Next, the stitches are divided between the front, back, and shoulders. From there, increases are made on every round on either side of each shoulder until you reach the desired shoulder width. Then the front and back are separated to be worked flat. Once you reach the desired yoke depth, the front and back are rejoined to work the body in the round. After a few centimetres, the front and back are separated again to be finished working flat and the body stitches are bound off with an i-cord. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes and also bound off with an i-cord. Throughout the vest you work a cable motif using only the mohair strand, creating a very interesting effect.

Elisabeth by Aitana Villa Yarns (72% kid mohair, 28% mulberry silk) (420m/50g), or any other lace weight yarn with similar characteristics. This will be colour A (CA).

Rachel by Aitana Villa Yarns (100% extrafine merino 19.5 microns) (400m/100g), or any other fingering weight yarn with similar characteristics. This will be colour B (CB).

The two yarns are held together throughout.

• German twisted cast-on.
• Backwards loop cast-on.

Acebo è un gilet con spalle a sella lavorato top-down partendo dal collo e usando sempre due fili. Una volta terminato il collo, le maglie vengono divise tra davanti, dietro e spalle. In seguito sono eseguiti degli aumenti a giri alterni sui due lati di entrambe le spalle fino a quando queste raggiungono la larghezza desiderata. Successivamente si separano il davanti e il dietro per lavorarli in piano. Una volta raggiunta la profondità desiderata dello sprone, il davanti e il dietro sono riuniti per poter lavorare il corpo in tondo. Dopo alcuni centimetri, sono di nuovo separati e si finisce di lavorarli in piano. Le maglie del corpo sono chiuse con un i-cord. Infine si raccolgono le maglie intorno ai giromanica e le si chiude di nuovo con un i-cord. Per tutto il gilet si lavora un motivo a treccia usando solo il filo di mohair, creando così un effetto molto interessante.
