Abby’s Parasol has been a dream of mine since I first saw Abby on NCIS with her black parasol. Finally I have my own!!

Abby’s Parasol is designed to fit a 48” diameter umbrella or parasol frame and is knit from the center out.
This is very similar to the umbrella I used: Umbrella
Abby’s Shawl is a semi-circular version knit in 8 identical sections, knit top down with two options for length.

Charts Only. Medium Difficulty. However, the WS rows are purled except for the edge sts in Abby’s Shawl.

Beads are optional for Abby’s Parasol and Shawl. I chose not to use them in the parasol except for the Beaded Crochet Bind Off where I used magatama drop beads.
There are instructions for two bind off options: Beaded Picot and Beaded Crochet.
