AASE PILLOW Aase Pillow has a pattern with repetitions creating a stylish, modern Nordic look.
The pattern is inspired by Åse Lund Jensen’s beautiful pattern called “Skæl” which was originally used for a purse design.
In the 1950s and 1960s, Åse created an iconic style with pattern combinations and rhythmic decreases and increases in multi-color knitting. Details which are recreated today in this design with the utmost respect for the original.

About the pattern
The pillow is worked in the round with a circular needle. The bottom of the pillow is finished with a border that stabilizes the bottom. The stabilizing border is folded and sewn onto the backside of the work. If you want to add a zipper, you can do so. As a last step, the pillow is sewn together at the top and the bottom.

Measurements
Size: approx. 45 x 45 cm

The cover fits a pillow of 50 x 50 cm.
The pillow cover must be stretched and sit tightly on the cushion pad.
