This is the third part of a series of twelve patterns for a three-dimensional knitted box scene. All twelve parts will be published on alternate days in December 2018. There is also a preliminary pattern, ‘A White Christmas’, which has a full materials list and instructions on knitting some of the bigger pieces.

The knitting is getting more interesting now with this pattern for the little cottage that is the focus of the scene. It has stone walls and a thatched roof, inspired by the Cotswold houses in my part of the world.
