Bavarian twisted stitch patterns meet Fair isle stranded colorwork in these socks, sized in women’s medium (approx. 9” foot circumference and 9 7/8” length) and large (approx. 10” foot circumference and 10 1/4” length). Row gauge is not critical, as the pattern is adjustable.

The pattern calls for about 100 grams/400 yards of the main color yarn, and 12 - 15 yards each of two contrast colors.

Both the twisted stitch and color patterns are charted, with written instructions for the construction, including short-row toes with a provisional cast on and short-row heels with a mini gusset for better fit.
