A Touch of Color Hat & Scarf
The pattern is for a warm and cozy hat and scarf set using two different yarns for striping and knit in garter stitch on circular needles.
From the pattern: “Scarf is knit lengthwise, so adjust length by casting on fewer or more stitches. When changing yarn, leave a length of yarn for fringe as desired. Sample fringe is 5 inches.” From my experience: be sure to cast the scarf on loosely so it will not be tighter on one long side than the other … and look like a banana.
