A Teapot Cosy
This pattern is
available for free.
This teapot cosy is a very useful one to give a bachelor friend, and it’s also just the thing for holidays, as it can be squeezed into any convenient corner in a trunk without injury. It can be washed over and over again if fast colours are selected for making it. Take one cut petticoat wool for the outside and half a cut of 5-ply fingering for the lining; these may he chosen of contrasting colours; two bone needles (No. 8), and two of No. 10, also three-quarters of a yard of ribbon about 1½in. wide, to match the lining.
The cosy is gathered at the top like a bag, by way of ribbons threaded through eyelets.
