A Stitch Sampler Hat
A Stitch Sampler Hat accompanies the larger e-book, “The Loom Knitter’s Stitch Dictionary”. The pattern uses five stitch patterns from the dictionary to create a fun hat that is easy to wear. Color blocking helps show off the different stitch patterns, and some shaping gives the hat its “tilt” toward the back. Special price - buy this book and Volume Two and receive $3.00 off. Applies to previous purchases if buying a second volume.
Two options are given in the pattern for the top of the hat: a long, pointed option or a rounded flat top option. Both are finished with a little ribbon tassel and bead, just for fun.
A 3/8 inch gauge loom with 72 pegs is used to make the hat, but you may use other loom gauges. Less than one skein of yarn was used for each of the four colors of the hat.
A Stitch Pattern Hat is one of a trio of patterns in the “Stitch Sampler Pattern Collection” that accompanies the larger stitch dictionary. It is written in large print 24 point font. The separate stitch dictionary file is in 20 point font.
My patterns are low vision and screen reader accessible. The text is black, Arial and large print 24 point font. All of the directions are fully written out and no charts are relied on to complete the patterns. No italics are used. They are screen reader and tablet friendly.
