This bright-coloured hat, scarf and mittens set was my very first published design. It was chosen for publication from Knitter’s Magazine “Knit for Kids” design competition.

The hat is worked in the round with a lining up to the crown. The scarf is worked in the round, with I-cord fringe attached to the bottom of each scarf tail. The mittens are worked with a double thickness of yarn for added warmth.
