A Lady's Cap
This pattern is
available for free.
This cap is perfectly simple to make, but takes more time to crochet than the usual kind of sports cap owing to the fineness of the material. It is made of two shades of Hedebo Knitting, size 8, and one skein of each shade will be required, also a very fine ivory crochet hook or a rather coarse steel one according to taste. Two buttons are required for the sides, and these may be fancy ones bought ready-made, or else button moulds may be covered with the dark or the light Hedebro to match either the foundation or the border of the cap
