Pattern Description from Victorian Lace Today: “From the Manual of Needlework, Cornelia Mee, London 1854. Since this pattern was for a veil the diamonds appeared at one end only. In order to update it as a scarf, I added a balancing set of diamonds at the opposite end.”
Difficulty: Experienced Lace
Measurements: 25” x 65”
Yarn Weight/Yardage: #1 Super Fine Weight / 1300 yds
Yarn & Colorway: Shown in book in 2-ply merino handspun. Alternate yarns: ALPACA WITH A TWIST Fino or MISTI ALPACA Lace
Needles:
- 3.5mm/US 4 circular needles, or size to obtain gauge, 60cm (24”) or longer
 - Two 3.5mm/US 4 double-pointed needles, or size to obtain gauge
