A Hint of Spring
A pattern for a scarf with wavy seed stitch borders and a twining vine of embossed leaves. The knitter should be familiar with cabling, increasing and decreasing, and working both knit and purl stitches twisted (tbl). Knowing how to cable without a needle is helpful, as there are multiple cables on most right-side rows, but not absolutely necessary.
Both written and charted directions are included.
The pattern also includes suggestions for modifying the pattern for a wider or narrower scarf, using an alternate yarn weight, and widening the design to create a stole.
