I love Golden State Warriors basketball! As we gear up for the 2019-20 season, we’ve lost a significant portion of our core team and Oakland’s Oracle Arena is no more. But, hey – it’s the Warriors, and we have a golden opportunity to celebrate new beginnings!
This season’s knit is a fingering weight three-color shawl with beaded i-cord tassels. It’s perfect for all experience levels! Your finished project will visually reflect our Golden State Warriors’ 2019-2020 performance. I designed this shawl in the team’s gold and blue colors and added ivory as an accent color.
Yarn estimates are very generous. The sample is knit in Berroco’s Ultra Wool Fine, in the solid colors of Butternut, Snow and Maritime. However, feel free to be creative with your yarn choices. I can see substituting one of the solid colors with a variegated yarn to add interest.
This pattern includes the 2019-20 Golden State Warriors schedule of games, beginning with the regular season opening of October 24, 2019. I am so excited to knit the season with you!
