A Different Perspective is a rectangular, two-color shawl knitted on the bias, alternating garter stitch and lace sections. The lace is engaging but not difficult to execute, making the shawl a fun but also relaxing knit.

The shawl is totally adjustable both in length and in width (resizing instructions are provided).

For my original sample I used a merino-silk blend, DK weight yarn, but this shawl can also be knitted using Sport or Fingering weight yarns and resized using the instructions provided in the pattern.

6 balls in color B, shown in Sunflower

For my sample I used 5.2 balls of color A (598 m / 653 yds) and 5.5 balls of color B (633 m / 693 yds).

A Different Perspective è uno scialle rettangolare in due colori lavorato in diagonale, che alterna sezioni in legaccio a sezioni in lace. La parte in lace richiede attenzione ma non è difficile da realizzare, rendendo lo scialle divertente ma anche rilassante da lavorare.

Le dimensioni dello scialle sono completamente personalizzabili sia in lunghezza che in larghezza (le istruzioni per modificare le dimensioni sono incluse nello schema).

Per il mio scialle originale ho usato un filato merino e seta, di tipo DK, ma questo scialle può essere realizzato anche con filati di tipo Fingering o Sport, adattando le dimensioni usando le istruzioni fornite nel pattern.
