Pattern description:
This pattern provides instructions for Tinsel Teddies, knitted in King Cole Chunky and DK yarn.
Gauge:
20 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.
Sizing Information:
Large Teddy: (Size 1: 31.5cm/ 12.5”) tall approximately.
Small Teddy: (Size 1: 25cm/ 10”) tall approximately.

King Cole Tinsel - 50g balls.

Shade/s: Red Snow (3303), Flame (3222), Coconut (3221), Latte (1860), Lilac (1992) and Fudge (3133).
King Cole Dollymix DK - 25g balls.

Shade/s: Red (9), Flame (87), White (1), Natural (46), Lilac (17) and Taupe (37).
Large Teddy 1:
Tinsel Chunky Red Snow 3303 2 50g balls
Dollymix DK Red 9 1 25g ball
(Size 1: 3 balls yarn).
Large Teddy 2:
Tinsel Chunky Flame 3222 2 50g balls
Dollymix DK Flame 87 1 25g ball
(Size 1: 3 balls yarn).
Large Teddy 3:
Tinsel Chunky Coconut 3221 2 50g balls
Dollymix DK White 1 1 25g ball
(Size 1: 3 balls yarn).
Small Teddy 1:
Tinsel Chunky Latte 1860 1 50g ball
Dollymix DK Natural 46 1 25g ball
(Size 1: 2 balls yarn).
Small Teddy 2:
Tinsel Chunky Lilac 1992 1 50g ball
Dollymix DK Lilac 17 1 25g ball
(Size 1: 2 balls yarn).
Small Teddy 3:
Tinsel Chunky Fudge 3133 1 50g ball
Dollymix DK Taupe 37 1 25g ball
(Size 1: 2 balls yarn).
One pair of knitting needles size 4mm (UK size 8, USA size 6).
A spare needle or stitch holder.
You will need washable toy stuffing.
And oddments of black DK yarn for the eyes, nose and mouth for each Teddy.
Also a small amount of white DK yarn for the highlight in the eyes of each Teddy.
