Gauge:
Tinsel Chunky-
22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Using 1 strand of Big Value Chunky -
16 stitches and 22 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 5mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Using 2 strands of Big Value Chunky -
11 stitches and 17 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 7mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension.

Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

King Cole Big Value Chunky (100g): Small amount each of shade - Caramel, Sand and Black.
(Size 1: 2 balls yarn).

Backpack:
King Cole Tinsel Chunky (50g): 1 x Rusty
King Cole Big Value Chunky (100g) : 3 x Mango, 1 x Caramel , 1 x Sand and a small amount of Black.
(Size 1: 6 balls yarn).

What you will need:
Black drawstring cord - 1 metre long.
Cord toggle to fit drawstring cord.
Sticky tape as it helps when placing cord through hole in toggle.
A small amount of glue for the cord ends to prevent fraying.
And washable toy stuffing for the Toy.
