This pattern provides instructions for two styles of meerkat, knitted in King Cole DK yarn.

25 stitches and 34 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 3mm knitting needles and 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4“) over stocking stitch using 4mm knitting needles or the size required to give the correct tension. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

Child Meerkat: (Size 1: 20cm/8”).
