Who doesn’t love a set of matching beanies for the whole family? Kit out everyone in this set of beanies, from small baby through to large adult and in coordinating yarns. This simple design can be used as a blank canvas of your choice of colourwork patterns, or use up scraps with stripes! The average adult will take the adult size, whereas the large adult size is there for people with lots of wild hair and a big noggin (like me). Head sizes vary a lot, so choose the size based on measurement rather than these approximate ages.

Materials

• 1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2) balls Adorn Silky Merino DK, Bellissimo 8ply, Zealana Rimu, or 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2) balls Heirloom Merino Magic Medley 8ply, Cleckheaton Country 8ply, Cleckheaton Country Naturals 8ply, or 1 skein Fiori DK
• 4mm 40cm circular needle and dpns (baby sizes use dpns throughout)
• 3.25mm 40cm circular needle/dpns
• 8 stitchmarkers (use contrasting start of round marker)
• tape measure
• yarn needle for sewing in ends
• optional pompom (additional yarn may be required)
