Elaborately patterned, this pullover is very oversized, as was the fashion at the time it was published, and difficult to scale down. The 46.5 inch (118cm) size is called “XS”. The construction, however, is a simple drop shoulder so knitting a smaller size will work if less ease is desired.

Metric sizing (converted from inches, not included in English language version of pattern): 118, 122, 128, 132, 138 cm.

Three colors are used: 8-12 skeins of the Main Color, 10-12 of the secondary color and 2-3 of the contrast color are specified.

Knit in the round and steeked for the drop shoulder sleeves. Cuffs and bottom are hemmed. The crew neck is ribbed.
