We have created a different style of increases on this hat. The Cast on starts at the crown. You will be putting stitch markers in place. The stitches that create the increase are the 3sts before the marker and 3sts following the marker. Because you are creating a larger number of stitches with each increase, you will repeat these new increases further apart so the hat does not get too big too fast. The entire hat is worked in the round so be sure to spread your stitches out among DP needles and watch the stitch markers. Continue to desired length and then drop markers and change all stitches to Rib St. to create the bottom border. The cast on tail is threaded and run through the cast on row and pulled to create the crown gather.
