I selected 3 of the luxurious Cardiff Cashmere yarns to create this triangle shaped shawl. I used Cardiff Classic dk, Cardiff Brushlight and Cardiff Curly. Each yarn has it’s own individual texture but all of them are knit in one matching shade. There are three classic color combos where they all match. Otherwide this can be done in a mutlitude of combo’s where color does not matter. The work is cast on with the most stitches and it Decreased at the end of every RS row. The pattern is created by working 1 row stripes of each yarn in Stock St. and one row that is reversed to get a texture on the RS. To work a one row stripe, you cast on with Yarn A, Join yarn B and work the first row. Join yarn C and work the next row. Each yarn is worked by itself and not blended. To start the next row, you simply pick up the other yarn that is sitting there waiting for you and you continue in the pattern. It creates a truly beautiful piece of fabric.
