This shawl is worked in 3 different colors of Pappagallo from Lana Grossa. This new yarn is created using an elongated dye Extrafine Merino yarn that is chained loosely to create a light open tube. This pattern stitch is a variation of a classic slip stitch but to carry the colors/yarns up, a double wrap is worked on the set up row and then dropped on the next row. The long stitch space will be filled in as the slip stitch cycle begins. The colors are alternated and then swapped making this the accessory that goes with any and every color.
